Juliana Grace Valk and Hunter Wayne Fitzgerald joyfully announce their marriage on June 15, 2019 at Marblegate Farm in Friendsville, TN. The Rev. Dr. Randy Frye officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tony and Karen Valk of Kingsport, TN. She is the granddaughter of Sarah Valk, the late Auke Valk, and the late Ivan and Kathryn Bryant; all of Kingsport.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Christi Fitzgerald of Hendersonville, TN. He is the grandson of Charlotte Kirkland and the late Jerry Fitzgerald, Sr; Pam Baker and the late John Kenneth Baker, all of Nashville, TN.
Matron of honor was Laurel Caldwell of Chattanooga, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Christine Hitch of Nashville, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Olivia Fitzgerald of Hendersonville, sister of the groom; Sarah Valk of Kingsport, sister in law of the bride; Katie Eldridge of Nashville, sister in law of the groom; Miranda and Ariane Burt of Knoxville, cousins of the bride; Rebecca Van Balen of Nashville, Lauren Martin and Leah Efird of Memphis, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Elowyn Caldwell of Chattanooga, niece of the bride.
Cody Fitzgerald of Nashville served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Valk of Kingsport, brother of the bride; Ben Noh of Dallas, TX, Brandon Porch and James Adams of Knoxville, Nick Beach, Landon Stanley, Caleb Morgan, and Easton Cline of Nashville, all friends of the groom.
Juliana is a graduate of Sullivan South High School and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She is currently a fourth-year dental student at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Hunter is a graduate of Station Camp High School and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a bachelor's degree in sports management with a minor in business. He is employed by First Tennessee Financial as a network engineer.
After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple resides in Memphis.
